Hi All,

In the process of planning the redecoration of our lounge. We've not touched this room since we moved in (bar blocking up a doorway). So it will be getting the full works (skim, new flooring, doors (inc. making a standard doorway into a 2.5m opening for internal folding french doors, new skirting etc).

Currently setup for 7.1 (Dali Zensor 7 at the front with a matching centre. Rears and Surrounds and the sub are from my old Jamo A102 setup.

As I see it I have three options:

1) Run cabling behind coving / channel the walls and remain with the existing rear/surround speakers
2) Install ceiling speakers (either in 5.1 or 7.1 configuration) - happy to do this (and it would make the cable runs easy as I can go up through the new stud wall I am putting in, along the landing and then back into the lounge
3) Revert to a 'traditional' 5.1 setup and purchase a couple of Dali Zensor 1, put them on stands in the corners of the room (i'd need to channel the floor to run the cables)

Option 2 would be the easiest but I am worried about noise transfer into the bedroom above (where my two daughters sleep)

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance
