Surroundsound for Wall Mounted TV?

Scuse the noobie question, but want to know the unobtrusive options for wall mounted TVs, I may be able to place a sound bar on a shelf below but would look slightly odd?

Ive seen lots of pics of people wall mounting a soundbar under the TV. It CAN look OK but wouldn’t be my option.

Best way is an HDMI cable to an AV Amp and speakers run from there. You could chase an HDMI cable into a wall and hopefully leave no trace.

Just for further info, there is no wall space either side and a radiator underneath!!

I'd be surprised if you couldn't accommodate the tiny speakers somehwere and then you just need a 5 ch AV amp.

Thanks for the suggestion but I think my rear speakers would have to be wireless, I may get away with the sub and front speakers being wired though!

Usually you'd put a high level (behind the TV) wall plate and a low level (socket level) wall plate. and either connect them with conduit, or fish a wire though the cavity each time.

This is for all wires going to & from the TV assuming no high level sockets etc already there.
