Naim Unitiqute 2, when will it be outdated?
Discussion
To be honest I don't worry about it too much. Naim usually holds its value and whilst this type of thing might not as much, looking on eBay etc doesn't seem to suggest otherwise.
I've a uniti and recently had it repaired. I loaned one of the new Atoms and it was really very good but didn't think it was worth upgrading. The old green screen looks dated by comparison but as long as I can stream I'm happy.
I guess it depends on how much people want to use online services. I've Deezer premium but wouldn't use it with my setup even if I could as the quality doesn't seem as good as streaming flac from my Nas or playing cd's.

Thought I'd bump this OP
I've just been chatting to a naim rep at the Bristol hi fi show and he assures me that naim are committed to supporting their products for many years to come. He says they still support 40 year old kit and are committed to doing so many years into the future.
I guess they obviously can't guarantee we will still be streaming in 40 years time, but they will be able to service your kit.
Enjoy it, I've been listening to lots of kit and the naim stuff is really hard to beat.
