Looking to purchase a couple of TVs for a holiday let, and since it is not for home personal use, and being persuaded also by the price of £475, i am going for a Cello C65ANSMT-4K 65" UHD Smart Android LED TV.

I am correct in thinking that all TVs can be wall mounted, and should I go for a fixed or tilted wall mounted bracket, and is the distance between wall 22mm and/or 38mm of any importance, thanks for any advice.

Yes nearly all TVs can be wall mounted, check the spec it should say VESA 200/400 etc. which refers to the distance between the mounting holes on the back. I've wall hung many Cello TVs.

I always suggest a tilt bracket, you can always tighten up the tilt so it is flat, so best of both worlds. I would advise mounting reasonable distance off the wall, leave a gap so hands can get to the connectors on the side, people like to plug in HDMI etc. There should be some spacers with the bracket. Make sure you secure the safety screws on the bracket so the TV cannot be lifted off.

You don't need to spend lots on a bracket, something like this is fine. https://www.amazon.co.uk/VonHaus-Bracket-Spirit-Lo...

Agree with megaphone. I've a non tilt bracket and it's a ballache if I need to change cables etc.

Given my time again I would have sacrificed an inch of flatness and gone for a bracket I could swing out. Lifiting a 50" telly of the wall is precarious at best for one person.

A vote for the VonHaus bracket - have used in all houses / rooms. Very good value for money in my opinion

This was my worry and after reading stuff here I think the one I bought should be just right for the job, it is from Ultimate Mounts and is the 110M. It tilts 15 degrees both ways and 45 on the swivel and I got it via The Plasma Centre for £49
I checked on their website that it would be compatible with my TV, (LG Oled 55 inch) and it all matches fine.
Work starts on the house Monday, so everything should be finished and up in place for the 6th April cool

That looks pretty flimsy to me!
The screen will be almost 170mm off the wall too, which is too far isn’t it?

Do you need to rotate the screen, or are you just worried about being able to add extra cables later?

This is doing a great job of holding my old 40" LCD to the wall in my office/spare room

I have a Sanus VMF322 B2 and it seems to do everything. It can be flat to the wall and has full motion movement. It pulls out quite a way too. My initial worry was that it was only held to the wall with two bolts, but it’s solid.

we have a 50" and went for one which is LED but not super thin. We're really glad we did this for the reasons mentioned above - it's easy to fit new cables etc and from experience with holiday lets etc - people will have a tendency to try and plug their own crap in!

Got 3 of these holding up two 49” and one 55” Sonys

They do stick out a bit so aesthetically not as clean but needed to switch and play with cabling
