Golden Ear In wall speakers

Afternoon all - does anybody have any experience of Golden Ear in wall speakers? I have a home theatre to build in the coming months but struggling for info/demonstrations at the minute.

I love them!

I have installed a number of clients projects with the on-wall Sats and Floor standding Triton's, I even used them in my own personal system, thats how highly I rate them.

We have just agreed a project using the inwalls that will be a dedicated 7.2.4 system and having heard our importers demo, have no doubts about them.

Where about are you, you are welcome to come for a demo of mine if you want.

Sounds good - I’m looking at 7.2.4 myself (hopefully). I didn’t realise getting demos of in wall systems would be so difficult - (understandable in hindsight really!). - I’ve only been able to check out Monitor Audio and MK Sound so far, not keen on the MA stuff but was blown away by the MK kit (IW150s)

When are you thinking of doing the install. Our in-wall room should be done by June.

MA and MK are different ends of the spectrum imo.

However depending on the demo and dealer you visited the MK costing can run away with themselves.

I visited the importer 3, 4 years ago and whilst the demo sounded great, when we actually costed what the client needed to achieve the same it was far in excess of his budget. Although he did end up with a full on digital JBL pro system with 4 x 18” subs!!!!!

I did drop them a mail and turns out it was you they suggested I call - Mark said to mention his name to you for some reason.......

We’re looking at a 3 month build so hopefully some around the end of August so June may be feasible, what are you putting in your demo room out of interest?
