I am after some Closed Back, over ear headphones, but I have pretty large ears.

Wired or Bluetooth, with a microphone, for use with an IPhone 6, an Android phone and a laptop.

Budget £100 - £150ish

I listen to Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Dance Music and Movie Soundtracks.

I want neutral-ish sounding but with decent bass.

Any suggestions?

I found these which look ideal, but they are not available in the UK so I can;t find anywhere to try them out: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B018UB3HU0/ref...
The UK distributor was pretty useless and just suggested a UK model that has smaller earcups.:

I have some half decent headphones but even though they are over ear they sit on my ears and get uncomfortable pretty quickly.

Cheers.

Neutral-ish with decent bass? Beoplay H6, specifically the gen 2, which also have slightly larger pads than the first gen if I recall.

No tape to hand but mine look a tad under 2 inches inside, the pads are also memory foam. The only problem is I'm not sure they're available within budget anymore (unless you like the biege ones...), mine were returns/refurbs from their UK distributor on Ebay, and I paid about £100 if I recall correctly.

I would not recommend the Audio Technicas, at least not that design, they share the shape with the MSR7 which I sold to replace with the H6s. The M30/40/50(lots of differing opinions on this, but I wouldn't buy those for music enjoyment)/70, all also share that pad shape and headband design. They may well be worth a try for you in person, however the issue I had with the MSR7s was the high clamping force, and the headband making me feel like I'd been hit across the top of the head with a stick after several hours. You may have luck with the ART series, though I'm not sure if they are known for having particularly large pads either.

The B&O H6s do not have removable pads, but it is worth bearing in mind many other makes do; Brainwavz make good sized pads suitable for most shapes of headphone, HM5 pads are a direct fit replacement for ATs of the shape you posted, and are roomier than the originals - the only issue is, different pads will change the sound. I tried them on my MSR7s, the pads felt much bigger but they changed the sound too much for my liking.

As above r/headphones is a good place to try, or headfi.org. A lot of the individual headphone threads on headfi are very lengthy, but you'll find pad discussions and sizes there.
