My Tandberg 3300X needs a new belt as the old one had snapped.
If I lay out the belt flat, it measures 62cm in length and is 3mm wide.
I was going to order a Nitrile belt from here https://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/index.php?cPath=... (I know an O-ring isn't ideal, but it's rarely used)
The question is...what is the bore size of that belt ? 62cmx3mm ?

197mm, but the o ring has a circular profile not a flat one so you will only have a tiny fraction of the surface area in contact as you would with a belt.

Thanks...the belt is round not flat. Is it still 197mm? (Sorry I’m no good with maths)

If you have measured the length at 620mm that's the inside circumference of the belt when it was a circle.
To calculate the diameter (or bore):

Diameter = Circumference/pi = 620/3.142 = 197.4mm
https://circumferencecalculator.net/circumference-...

From the page you link to this is the closest item:

You know that you can buy spares for that model? I have done the same job with another old reel-to-reel. No need to faff about measuring normally.

Thanks all.
Yeah I know you can buy belts but thy're also Nitrile, so the same as the supplier in my link above, but costing £20 rather than £6.

just check the o rings arent less pliable or it might wreck the bearings
