1970's HiFi - fuse amperage?

I've inherited a very stylish Bang & Olufsen music system which has had all the power plugs removed for some reason. Before I electrocute myself, which amp fuses would be recommended?

its only to protect the cable, the system will have fuses internally for its own protection. I would use 3A fuses in the plug tops. Usually you will find fuseholders on the rear chassis and the fuses in there will be to protect the electronics inside. you should love the B&O brilliant sound.
