As long as it's securely glued and doesn't start flapping about. My mate had a buzzing dustcap in an old pair of Rogers speakers. They suggested they'd glue it and they seemed to know what they were doing back in the day.

I have a pair of TDL RTL2 floorstanders sat doing nowt much...

Just building a games room and thought they'd go in there, but am suspecting not now sadly.
