Anyone got a samsung satellite recorder?

My mother has one and i am trying to set up a favourites list on it so that she can turn the guide on an only see the channels she is interested in.

I can set up the list but all that does is put a little heart by the selected channel in the channel guide. It does allow me to view a list of her favourites but it doesnt tell you what is being shown on the.

What i really need is that her favourites list acts as a 'genre'. Is this possible?
