soundbar help.
Discussion
For the last 4yrs i have been using a Samsung HW-H551 and it has been faultless and was never lacking in bass from the bluetooth sub.It was connected to a samsung 55' led t.v. with the t.v. remote operating the soundbar automatically.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago when i kept getting a message on the sounbar "check subwoofer" and kept disconnecting and when holding the manual bind button on the sub just kept getting fast flashing blue light (no handshake?).
I opted to buy a Samsung HW-Q60R harman/kardon as the reviews were good.
soundbar arrived and was connected to t.v. by hdmi arc and subwoofer binded automatically and all looked good (did'nt sound it though)
The subwoofer had a solid blue light and was working but had very minimal bass so in the soundbar menu upped the sub volume to +6 and maxed out the bass but still minimum bass compared to the previous set up.
Have now positioned sub in the corner behind the sofa and sounds a bit better,The soundbar does include the Adaptive Sound mode, which analyses the incoming audio and depending on the type of content will adapt the sound using all the available channels to give you the best performance on a scene-by-scene basis but the vocals are very low and the background music is loud?it also has a game pro mode and when playing drakes fortune on the PS4 the voices are low but when you use a gun all hell breaks loose as in literally have to turn it down and up again when shooting stops.
Getting really frustrated as i just want clear vocals across all sources with some bass to fill in the lows(have set sound mode to standard and surround to standard and still having issues.
sorry for the long post but have any other members got this version and if so have they noticed this.

A quick read of the reviews - https://www.avforums.com/reviews/samsung-hw-q60r-s... - I would guess you either have it set on an odd audio mode, or it is faulty as the reviews seem good.
But then I dont know what you had before or how it sounded.
Firstly, try different audio modes in the Soundbar settings, check if the bass levels reset if you change audio mode.
Then check the audio settings from the TV, see if there are any adjustments in there as well.
