Bowers & Wilkins M-1 and AM-1

Since about a year, I've been using a Bowers & Wilkins MT-60D set of speakers in the lounge, and have been very happy with it!

Now I've acquired 4 B&W AM-1 speakers , of which at least 2 will be used outside (main reason for purchasing them).
I was thinking about upgrading the two front M-1s in the lounge to two AM-1s but I'm not quite sure if this would improve the sound quality (I could reuse the M-1s somewhere else in the house).

Has anyone tried this combination yet?

Does anyone have a view on how the M-1 and AM-1 compare? (haven't been able to compare them in the room yet...)
