Costco have the Philips 50PUS6804/12 at £349.

Richer sounds have the Philips 50PUS6754 at £369.

I know nothing about TVs but it has to be 50” and we like the idea of ambilight.

Which is better?

It is not unusual for CostCo to have their own model number TVs. It allows them to get around any restrictive pricing policies the supplies may have.
