Pair Bluetooth Transmitter to soundbar

I have a cheap projector which we are using in the spare room for cinema nights for my daughter , it's a Apeman attached to the ceiling and works pretty well with a £50 motorised screen.

I want to connect this to a JBL Studio soundbar I have kicking around with Bluetooth. I bought a Bluetooth 3.5mm jack receiver/transmitter thinking i could do this.

However I cannot for the life of me think how to pair the two as they are both "dumb" devices and can't be selected, is there someway to put them into pair beacon mode or something?

At the moment i have a 10metre 3.5 cable which isn't ideal

Any ideas?
