2 x TV Recommendations needed - Kitchen & Man Cave
Discussion
I am looking for recommendations for two very different TVs.
Case 1:
A small TV (<32in) for use in a kitchen to be mounted on a swing arm on a wall so it can sit in a corner and be angled as needed. There is no aerial nearby so needs to be a smart TV that can pull content via the WIFI. I can add a KODI/Pi box to grab local content from my set up but ideally need to be able to get to basic IPlayer / ITV stuff for live TV.
Budget £150 if possible.
Case 2:
My ancient Man Cave TV is on the fritz so with the imminent arrival of the new consoles it is time for a 4k upgrade. Used mainly for XBox and movies so I would like >47in , 4k and HDR if possible. Sound not important as I have a sound system. Viewing distance is only 3m or so and the room is generally quite dark so outright light level not too important. There is a chance it may be connected later to a PC as a secondary output for games but not sure if anything TV wise has higher frame rate / variable rates without going crazy. Budget ideally about £1000 but may be convinced to go to £1500.
I open this up to the PH gurus! Ironically it is the smaller TV I am mainly struggling with especially as its hard to go and look at them at the moment.
Thanks in advance!

I don't know if you have already tried this but this is what Richer Sounds have got that's 32" or less for under £200 (it seems you can't filter by Smart TV though):

It looks like the cheapest Smart TV (with iPlayer etc) is the £179 LG or Toshiba so your budget may need to stretch. Check which streaming services are important to you (Netflix, Prime, Disney, etc) & make sure the TV you pick include them.

I'd probably look at something like this,

I'm looking at the slightly larger version for the shed so I can stream everything and watch BT sport via Apple TV

Apologies for the thread hijack but I'm in a similar position, looking for a 32" TV which will be wall mounted in a bedroom. It will need to be wall mounted but I don't want to use a full motion bracket if I can help it (unless I can get a really slim one) so ideally the TV needs to be good for off-center viewing angles of 50 degrees or so.

For off centre viewing LCD LED TVs aren't great, go for ones that have an IPS panel rather than VA panel as the viewing angle is wider on these.Oleds and plasma are best for viewing at different angles but they don't make plasmas anymore and you can't get oled in that size.
Samsung's QLED are meant to be good for off centre viewing.
Depending on your budget go for one of these otherwise mid-range anything from Sony or Panasonic will be decent.
OP for your second TV if it's going in the man cave with sound system apart from a 4k projector, 4K Oled will give you the best quality picture for movie viewing, some of them have quite low refresh rates now as well in game mode.
Something like this 55" will be really nice

There's also a 65" at richer sounds which is an older model but still really highly recommend for its picture and sound with built-in Technics soundbar, it's at the top end of your budget however.

Use code TV50 to get this for £998:

I have an older model and it's spot-on for gaming.

Looks like it must have now yeah, usually drop in price when the new ones arrive and big discounts for black Friday. Might find Amazon's big summer sale has it on offer when that comes up.To round off my own hijack of this thread, I purchased a Philips 32" telly which arrived this week:

It's got an IPS panel so the off-center viewing angles are good, has AndroidTV so plenty of apps available including Plex, which was the main one for us. It's reasonably thin and fairly light, not much heavier than the 22" screen it replaced actually so it's fine on the same angled bracket in the corner of our bedroom. Very happy with it so far, it's got the Ambilight which wasn't a factor in the decision at all but now I have it I quite like it. Might get a larger version of the same thing the next time the main TV in the lounge needs replaced.
