I'm looking for some guidance as I'm being really indecisive so any help would be gratefully received. I've a Bose soundlink mini which is great, but in the true PH frivolous spirit I'm looking for something which would be better, specifically for the patio area/table/garden and the jbl seems to fit the bill. I know it's subjective but best sound for outdoors in the typical wireless Bluetooth speaker form is the main criteria. Have also considered a stereo pair of Tribit Stormboxs but not sure they will cut it. Opinions please.

I bought the JBL for my teenagers as it’s rugged / waterproof and can be taken outside or to their rooms but it gets a fair amount of use generally in the kitchen and when we are sat in the garden. It exceeds expectations and sounds pretty good. My own gripe is the proprietary adapter instead of USB-C charging.

You could consider the SoundCast range, we have the smallest on for my daughters when showering or in the back of the MotorHome and it is really rather powerful.

Thank you both for your contributions which are much appreciated. Honestly, I hadn't come across the SoundCast range despite researching it to death so I'll have a good look.

A client of mine bought two of the 7’s for round the pool!!

PH deals if you’d like one.

The Tribit Stormbox punches way above its weight. I have one in my bathroom, bluetoothed to the Alexa in the bedroom. It gets charged about once a month despite being used every day, has volume and bass that exceeds its size and the sound quality is impressive. Above all its <£60.

Thank you. Have you played it outside? Does it cope well?
