Which wireless earphones (not headphones)?
Discussion
Klipsch have just launched their T5 II in-war true wireless.
Some interesting concepts, most specifically the use of the external metal as the actual
Antenna for Bluetooth.
Looking at the launch videos and PR Stuff it looks like they also come with a great range of ear pieces too.
Wireless charge case and IP water rated make them even more attractive.
Expected in the UK around this time next month and ph discounts if you know who to ask. .

I've "lost" my wired in ear headphones, have wireless over ear Sony headphones but the transmitter is sort of fixed to the TV. I'm considering "wireless in ear. Are they all Bluetooth? Is there a simple way of connecting them to an Echo Plus? Want to listen to the radio at times and my music isn't appreciated by the rest of the noisy family.

They do look good, but at the indicted £259 surely they’re missing a trick by not including active noise cancellation? Some interesting concepts, most specifically the use of the external metal as the actual

I’m waiting (have been for a while) for a decent looking pair of noise cancelling earphones but there always seem like too many compromises. I was waiting for the new Bose, but they were meant to be out by now, no idea when they’re coming?

Watching the press launch they claim a reduced need for active noise cancelling because of the quality of the fit.
TheRe are 6 different sized tips and an additional pair of memory foam ones.
Looking forward to getting a batch and keeping a pair for myself.

Thanks, reading further looks like the sport or sport mclaren are the ones to go for?
Klipsch are also apparently bringing anc ear buds out later this year, and they’re using sony anc tech.
Trouble is with these things, there’s always something newer and better on the horizon, means that i never actually bite the bullet and buy anything.
I’ve been looking for new earbud phones for since autumn last year

Already got some Sony WH-1000XM3, but fancy some earphones, are the AirPods pro the best? I quite fancy the Powerbeats pro at the same price as i'm paranoid the AirPods will constantly fall out and ill lose them.
Anything else?
How have you found the Sony's? I bought a pair just before lockdown as I had so many video conferences etc. I've been pretty dissatisfied with the noise cancelling to the point where I question if it's even working? Sound quality is decent though. Anything else?

I also have the sony wh-1000xm3 over ear headphones, the noise cancelling is outstanding, i’d say better than my lads bose nc over ears which were (slightly) more expensive. When activated, mine block easily 90+% of surrounding sounds.
If you can’t hear the difference then i’d suggest yours may well have an issue?

The issue with active noise cancelling is they are reactive to actual noise. So sudden, loud noises will get through because they won’t have time to react, where are constant background noises will get cancelled out by the inverse noise the headphones generate. When activated, mine block easily 90+% of surrounding sounds.

So if you have little background / ambient noise and mostly suddenly noises they won’t seem to be working as well.

My contact is a car nut and has driven the F1 McLaren tie-up by the look of things.

Interestingly another brand I have access to have just announced a true wireless bud headphone set. With dual drivers and active noise cancelling.

Well, Bose quietcomfort earbuds are due October 5th and priced at £249. They claim to have as good noise cancelling/ sound as their new 700 over ear headphones. If that's the case then they'll be outstanding. Maybe a pre-order coming on!!!!!https://www.bose.co.uk/en_gb/products/headphones/e...
