TV Signal problems

I've got a Samsung Qe55q7fn

Had it a couple of years. Very occasionally when you started it there would be no signal, quick off and on and everything would be back. However, recently the BBC channels have been very ropey on occasion, whilst the rest are ok. Checking signal strength it's 90%+ on these days.
The last few days though there has been no signal at all no matter how many time I cycle it. Full power off, etc. Signal monitor on the TV is at 0% on these days. Then the next day or even an hour later, full signal back.
Cables all connected, no damage I can see.
Trying to find my old Humax box to test if this is dish or tv. Do dishes go bad? No idea how old it is, same dish and LNB since we moved in 8 years ago.
Anything else I need to check?

Yes - we’ve just had a new aerial fitted and it’s transformed our channel access.

I didn’t quite follow entirely but the chap was saying they ‘moved frequencies’ or similar as they release band space for 4G/5G so they can lose accuracy in picking up signal. .

I’ve probably explained this wrongly but the point is new aerial = resolution.

Yes could be the cable, the dish performance or the LNB (electronics at the end of the dish arm)

Without a meter it would be difficult to identify which.

You can get a cheap satellite finder which will tell you if the dish is lined up properly. https://www.amazon.co.uk/sat-finder-HD-capable-pos...

As others have said, it could be the LNB failing. Or a poor cable, could be letting water in. Or possibly a TV receiver issue.

Why not fit an aerial?

I've been through three or four LNB's at my caravan over the years, had to replace the cable twice after realising the LNB wasn't at fault too (very rural part of West Scotland that sees some wild weather) and they can get moved out of position due to weather wear - Lidl had cheap satellite finders when I was in the other day.
