Hi guys,

I am reading up on a lot of these systems and each has their own benefits.

I currently have a 82inch Sammy Q90R upstairs in the loft conversion and a 65inch Sammy Q70R in the downstairs living room.

I have not done out the loft yet so I am more concerned with the living room audio. I am leaning to a Sammy system system the Q90HW? But they don't seem to be on sale right now.

My mate has a Sonos Beam, Sub and two ones. Seems overkill?

Any advice is appreciated. The living room TV is in a corner and on a swivel stand.

Thanks

I use B&W M1s and a REL T9 sub. The sub is overkill for 99% of the time, but really shakes the room when you want it to.

I have a beam and 2 Play 1s. Very good and the sub would be overkill.

How many channels does this create? 2.1?

Thanks

Q90 Soundbar here, very happy with it. It's rare you actually hear the Atmos but it works great for all sound sources.

Atmos is more of a buzzword that a functional solution in all but the top end soundbars and even then not a patch on a proper system.

So don't get hung up about having it or not.

This summer I got myself an old school (but decent, Dennon 3803, B&W 602's and a B&W sub) setup.

I then remembered that to enjoy the full cinema effect you have to have it LOUD,... like so loud that I have to turn it back down again. Dunno if that's just me?

Who is Sammy? Does he/she drive a 3’er or a 5’er?

It's 5.1 but could be 7.1 I think
