Sonos speaker placement in kitchen

Hi all,

Having recently got a Google nest for free I feel my Sonos speaker in the bedroom could be put to better use.

We don't have a massive kitchen and to keep things simple I was planning on sitting the play one on top of the fridge.

Can anyone see any issues with this? Heat from fridge/anything that could damage the speaker?

Strange/stupid question I know and I'm probably overthinking it but thought it would be best to check with the experts.

I could buy a wall mount for it but SWMBO isn't keen.
