What a great product, £45 delivered and it is brilliant, very helpful service and great to deal with. A 3rd of the price of Sanus.

I have 180 degree motion, tilt etc

Agreed, an excellent product. Had one holding up a 75" Samsung QLED for a few years and it's been without fault.

Only thing you need to do now is drop it down 1ft as your TV is far too high on the wall. Most TVs I see wall mounted these days are incredibly high and almost touching the ceiling......

I googled recommended height and it was 61 inches to middle so that is what I went for.

I’m happy with the position

+1 for invision.

We've one on our 55 inch TV mounted above the fish tank, and then one now on our 65 inch in the main room. Its mounted to look like the TV is floating just on top of the TV unit.

Great mounts, very strong, perfect range.

This is the one we use

Our TV is 45" to the centre - so it is about eye level when sitting down......

What’s the furthest the TV can come away from the wall? Looking at putting in a fake chimney breast and possibly hiding the Xbox behind the TV so could do with a wall mount that lets me bring the TV about 300mm from the wall..

The one i have (above) can easily come out 30 cm.

In fact, just checked from the Amazon link - "ULTRA SLIM TO WALL & LONG REACH – The HDTV-DXL has a slim design that allows TVs from 37”-70” (94cm – 178cm) to be positioned even closer to the wall at just 58mm and then extends out from a centralised position as far as 500mm without bending."

Perfect! Thanks for that. Just found it on Amazon so will get one ordered once we have plans firmed up. Can’t go wrong looking at the reviews.

Yes, they've been great for us. Good sturdy mount, lots of movement options.

Don't always believe everything on the internet. Google looks to have given you the TV height of you were standing up, if going by the height relative to the door.

Bringing it down will give you a better viewing a google, plus it'll look more cohesive with the soundbar and stand.

Ideal height is the bottom of the screen just below eyeline when sitting, isn’t it?

I’m having mine wall mounted soon and it will be higher than ideal but as low as possible.

That would work is roughly what I go for, but then it depends on your screen size. Centre of screen at eyeline is just uncomfortably low once you've sat back and got comfy on the sofa.

There's a good viewing angle calculator:
https://www.cinema-tools.com/viewing-angles-calcul...

And a nice wee thread on AVF:
https://www.avforums.com/threads/height-of-screen-...

Calculations and ideal heights are important, but the TV needs to work in the space you have, fit above a stand etc. If people are worried about kids and mount their TV by the ceiling, then I'd say deal with the root cause (kids) and ensure the TV is at a better height and secured properly. In comparison, you wouldn't mount a woodburner near the ceiling tongue out

Crikey, no.
The horizontal centre line of the TV should be level with, or slightly above, your eyeline when you're in your normal seated location.
