Time for a change of music.

Possible to re-sync with some new music from a up to date itunes account or will trying to do so on a old 4GB ipod kill it? Not worried if I loose all the music that's on it at the moment

Google says mine is no longer supported.

Cheers Chaps thumbup

If the iPod is only 4GB then I doubt very much its a classic, sounds more like a Nano or old touch so may not be upgradeable.

If it is a classic with a ZIF hard drive then they're fairly sought after for upgrades.

I don't want to upgrade it - works perfectly fine as it is .

I want to know if its compatible and will sync with a 2021 itunes account so I can change the music on it without any grief. I'll re sync it if I can but if that's going to kill it dead then I'll leave as is.

We still don't know what model you have though, it's not a classic as they're hard disc models.

Personally I've got an older ipod (a classic 80GB as it happens) and use a program for windows called Copytrans https://www.copytrans.net/copytransmanager/#down

I've not let itunes get anywhere near it for a while
