Recommend me a USB wireless audio DAC thingy.
Discussion
I am currently connecting a 2019 macbook pro and an android phone to a Naim uniti via built in Bluetooth.
But I'm not convinced Bluetooth is delivering the best sound (uniti is older range so assume older Bluetooth implementation too).
So I need something wireless, be it WiFi, latest Bluetooth spec adapter or any other method of wireless transfer. Even a Bluetooth dac that is known to be lossless.
What's the best wireless implementation and what product to buy with it? I'm thinking of moving from android to iPhone so is Airplay good? And what airplay adapter in that case.
The cheaper the better please
as I've read most Dacs in blind tests sound the same. No desire to spend thousands on a Chord product, hoping for a few hundred ish.

Laptop: Netflix and other movies, YouTube, streaming music services and music stored on the laptop.
Phone: Spotify/amazon music along with the music channels offered in the app 'usb audio player Pro' for android along with any music stored on phone.
Just need the best way to connect from these devices to the hifi. Currently using Bluetooth but suspect not the best.

I've been using an Audiogenie B1 bluetooth DAC (HD aptX) to connect android phone to my Musical Fidelity A3.5 amp in my main system. Sounds pretty good and a (relatively) cost effective solution. I also use it to connect my TV via bluetooth to my amp for movies from Netflix/Amazon Prime.

Sound quality will also depend on your source (Macbook / phone) being able to send HD bluetooth in the first place.
I bought another new one about 2 weeks ago to go with my new office HiFi set up but in reality I don't need it. Give me a shout if you're interested in buying it (boxed, all original etc).

Sounds like a Chromecast Audio (if you can get hold of one) should be what you need;

I don't know about movies, but for music you can connect a raspberry pi to your naim and control that via an app on your phone. That way you get wifi speed data transfer, not bluetooth, which is limited to a quality somewhat below CD even in optimal situations.
Spotify, Tidal etc all have Connect options - you operate the app on your phone and the pi streams it to your naim at whatever resolution you fancy. The difference is that wifi is much faster than bluetooth will ever achieve.
Works great for music.
Not all DACs do sound the same but it's definitely not as important as the quality and resolution of the file you're daccing.
