Bought two to go up high on a kitchen shelf but they don't seem to switch off automatically so it's a pain to get them down each time. Was expecting the same functionality as Ones but without the power cable and in a smaller size. Anyone else?

They got a bit slated in reviews, which is the first Sonos product I’m aware of that does. I bought a Move for my wife a while back for her various mobile musical shenanigans, and that has been excellent.

I don’t think it Turns off so it’s always available to play music , obviously this is a nuisance as it will run the battery down, if it did turn off some people would moan they have to manually turn it on.
If you want it to be like a play1 then run a couple of USB C power cables to each speaker .
It’s designed to be a mobile battery speaker that CAN be integrated into your Sonos eco system so I think they have the balance pretty good

I'd buy a Move tomorrow if it was able to connect to SONOSNET.

At home I had loads of problems when using Sonos on WIFi, completely solved by running an ethernet cable to Playbase in the front room and everything perfect since then.

AiUI, roam and move will only work on BT, or WiFi. They are unable to use the Sonos net.
