I've got an old Sony STR-DB780 AV Receiver along with a set of Sony surround speakers and sub that has been in the loft since we moved house - It sounded fantastic, but never got around to installing it here, and a SONOS Beam is plenty good enough.

It is probably too big and heavy to sell via eBay unless the buyer is local. Other than Facebook marketplace, is there a dedicated AV sales site that is worth considering?

If not, is it fit only for the recycling centre?

There's a few on eBay to give an idea of what it's worth..

I just bought a Denon AVR 1906 for £45 for a small project in my garage. Only using it as a 2 channel solution. There is certainly a market for them, I was watching several and they all got snapped up before the auction ended with “buy it now” sales.

Many were buyer collects though due to their weight. This one was sent for £15. The dedicated 2 channel amps appear to be more expensive on eBay.

I’m certain you’ll sell yours via one of those solutions listed. Somewhere like CEX may also take it off you.
