Sonos Play:3 with Beam (gen 2)?

We’ve got a couple of Sonos Play 3’s which we’ve had about 7-8 years now. Thinking of getting a Beam gen 2 to use as a sound bar for the TV but would be a lovely bonus if we could also link the Beam with our existing set up when we play music.

Anyone know for sure whether they are compatible?

I’m pretty sure the Play:3 is compatible with the newer stuff. Mine certainly is using the S2 app.

Yes I have 2 play 3s with a Beam, all works very well
