I use a Sonos Play 5.

Not Bluetooth but you can pick up used stuff cheaply and then just stream.

Old boom box with an aux plug in - need a bluetooth adapter that cost a tenner. It was a good boom box...

Why not look on Facebook market place and get some proper kit, unless space and convenience is a priority of course.

I got this little lot for the garage and just shoved a Bluetooth receiver on it and it's spot on. Way better than the Bluetooth Wonderboom I was using before.

All in about £50.

Don't buy anything with a battery if you're leaving it in the garage because the cold will at best negatively affect the run time and at worst, permanently damage it.

Dunno what your budget is but at the £130 mark I've got a UE Boom

This is not just a garage speaker though, I use it in rooms all over the house, take it on holiday etc.

Fabulous bit of kit and very robust, great battery life. Highly recommend these.

Got this in our garage. For the price, can’t fault it.
