Wall Mount Bracket for Sony TV

Hi Folks,

Hopefully a quick one, we just had an installer round to fit our 50" Sony on the wall in the bedroom and we hit a snag - the standard bracket he had with him doesn't fit a Sony TV. We've said we'd get a bracket then he would come out and fit it for us, question is, what do we need?

TV is a Sony KDL-50W829A from around 2015 (pre Android TV days). From a quick Google there look to be a lot of options, can anyone assist with the best one?

So it turns out I managed to buy this TV in the one year when Sony were doing their own thing when it comes to wallmounting TV's - VESA, who needs that, we've come up with our own solution!

Sadly it seems to involve parts that were supplied with the TV that are no longer available, either in my house or from Sony. There are a couple of conversion kits available, but neither look particularly convincing, so the Google rabbit hole has taken me to looking at replacing the TV and moving the old one up to my man cave. Could do without the expense having just moved house, but hey, it's a new TV.

Are the current Sony range VESA mountable? Am looking at the Sony 43X85J currently.
