Hi all,

I have some B&W CDM7NT speakers which have pushed in tweeter cones (toddlers...).

Does anyone know of somewhere where I could have the tweeter cones replaced? I have actually got replacement cones but decided it was a bit too much of a task for me to do correctly. Ideally I'd like to find somewhere local in London but I'm struggling to find anywhere who will pick up the phone or reply to emails.

Thanks,
Nick

Vacuum cleaner on low has worked for me in the past on some Dynaudios, but not sure if yours are made of a special type of material?

If you still aren’t keen on diy, might be worth an email to the manufacturer?

Try Bartlett's HiFi on Holloway Road - always found them very helpful.

Try asking in the Audioste FB group as there are many members who repair audio equipment & they may be able to point you in the right direction:

Actually it looks like the front ring just twists off & then you just have two spade terminals so they just pull off:

Thanks all! Yes- they’re very easy to take out, I’m just not confident in getting them unstuck and remounting the new ones.

Bartletts is a great shout- they are very close to me smile

I've used Wembley Loudspeaker to overhaul some old JBLs in the past. In Shepherd's Bush, not Wembley.

Another vote for Wembley. A lot of pro audio compannies use them for repairs.
