Bowers and Wilkins m1 or?????
Discussion
I need to place my 5.0 setup in the ceiling, instead of just having 'ceiling speakers' I can make a recess to give some better direction on them to help.
I went to richer sounds today to look at ceiling speakers, then looked at the minx min22's as adding direction helped a lot, however they had some of these in which are better sounding, looking and super neat with the cabled in brackets etc.

can you think of anything similar? They're £200 each, then a sub on top. Gave a really nice sound, however I know they're 10 years old.

I picked up a couple of those 2nd hand on stands for £70, they work well as rear speakersI went to richer sounds today to look at ceiling speakers, then looked at the minx min22's as adding direction helped a lot, however they had some of these in which are better sounding, looking and super neat with the cabled in brackets etc.

I have a set of these part of 3.0 setup in one room of the house. Their sound belies their size. Neat and quality build are a great bonus. I would not hesitate using them in a 5.1 setup for a small/moderate sized room.
I got mine for around £100 each, new, from some AV dealer that was closing down. Good bargains to be found on eBay etc if you are not fussed on them being new.

I installed these for my uncle some years ago. You said you have recess space....

They do a smaller single cone one too, but seemingly discountinued. you can find B stock.
