Trying to find something suitable so that a 55" TV can be wall mounted in a community hall where it might be subject to the odd flying object (I.e. community groups and kids parties).

I've seen these polycarbonate products but wonder if anyone has seen anything else?

You can buy TV screen protectors similar to what you can for phones from Amazon etc. and cheaper than what you have linked.

They do review well so may be another option.

I wonder how useable that screen will be after a few kids’ parties. As a five year old, I’d have seen it as a full on challenge.

Think I'd go old school and lock it behind wooden shutters, pointless trying to watch it through plastic.

I would expect anyone with a bit of joinery nous could make a box out for it, and face it with some appropriately thick polycarbonate.

Just decide what it has to resist impact from. Teddy bears? Footballs? Bricks? Small children?

From my days doing AV installation

Timber box surround, plywood shutters.
Also adds security.

Thank you for the input all.

The polycarb looks questionable to me, so thanks for confirming.

Will get in touch with the local menshed to get something bespoke made up. Cheers.
