Replacing a 20 year old tannoy sub

Slowly upgrading and improving home cinema set up. Have a nice new demon atmos av receiver and 7.1 speaker set up
Now using q acoustic 3030i front and 3010i rears and 3090 center . The only thing that is original now is 20 year old Tannoy msub10



Works fine but any real advantage on a newer sub? Or am I just wasting money, bearing in mind this is a fairly basic set up

Id go for something like a second hand BK Electronics Gemini II.

It has a fair bit more power than yours and sounds brilliant with both music and movies.
