New office set-up based around Adam Audio monitors

So after selling my previous office system due to the office about to be ripped out, refitted and decorated (which got cancelled as the decorator had an accident that's now unfortunately retired him); my office was put back as it was (bar a new Ikea desk), and then my wife decided that as it's the time of year we have the wood burner lit almost every day; that the fecking house plants from the living room can live in my office

To be fair they are doing hell of a lot better in there as it's cooler and away from direct sun light... Still; feels like I'm living in the world of The Triffids... Bloody things

The executive decision is that the living room & dining room are now first to be redecorated; more so as I've started a new contract with Kainos.com after taking VR from Meta last July

So I've treated myself to a new system based around Adam T5V studio monitors (for now) and an SMSL DAC DO100 PRO (XLR out) and Wiim Mini AirPlay 2 receiver/streamer

So the system will be: AppleMusic + whichever streaming service I decide to use alongside > Wiim Mini (for AirPlay 2) > SMSL DAC > ADAM Audio T5Vs via VanDamme XLR cables

I've never had the T5Vs before; I didn't want to go back to the JBL 305Ps as had them a few times, as well as the 8s, and they are superb; but been there/done that

I am also tempted to get a set of A5Xs via eBay as well as considering the newer A4Vs just to see how they are; but I'll give the T5Vs a good few weeks to settle in first

Should all land tomorrow; will get it set up and will get some pics up too

Quiet day tomorrow; no meetings currently - I'm sure I'll be able to keep myself busy
