Ultimate 80's separates system .... did I dream this ?
Discussion
Back in 1985/6 I worked in a small Hifi shop.
At the time I remember seeing a brochure for the most awesome stacking separates system ... if I had to guess it would have been JVC as the shop certainly was big on JVC ..
Anyway, what I remember about this system was that it had some facility where you could plug a TV into the amp and it would generate spectrum analyser graphics as it played music.
Also it had a CD-style motorised drawer that was for the cassette deck, or possibly the turntable.
However, I cannot find anything online that would suggest this thing ever existed.... but I'm fairly sure I didn't dream it .... but I would have been about 14 at the time .... so who knows !
Does any of this this ring any bells with anybody ?
