Preventing auto amp switch on

I have a Sky Q box, PS4, and CD/DVD player all connected through a Denon AVR1912 5.1 amp to an LG tv. When I put the Sky box on, it randomly seems to turn on the amp, or start up the PS4 when all I want is for the Sky audio to come out of the TV speakers.

Is there any setting or cabling I can do for this?

Turn HDMI Device Link OFF on the PS4.
Turn SIMPLINK/CEC OFF on the LG TV.
Use the TV speakers as default.
Manually switch on the Denon when you want surround sound.
