Is Sky+ down, or is it just my house?
Discussion
Wait until you get up at 6.30am, aiming to 'flash' through all the banter before the GP, and find out your 1-month olf Sky HD box has crashed during the night. It's a good job I didn't have a hammer handy.
Fortunately the Beeb repeated the entire race (without the 1-hour build up) on the red button Interactive service.

STrange fault. Basically, it was recording LOST on sky 1.
I turned it off, restarted, rang sky.
We reset a bunch of settings - still no good.
I cancelled teh recording, and all was fine.
But if I record any channel now, every other channel is "no satellite signal received"
Weird
Press services > system setup > signal check. You'll probably find that input 1 or input 2 is "not locked". That will cause the problem you're having.I turned it off, restarted, rang sky.

When I had it, it was a dodgy connection on one of the F-connectors in the back of the box. All I did was unscrew the connector from the box, remove it from the cable, tidied up the cable a bit, put the connector back on and it's fine now

One of the cables is not receiving a signal. I checked signal strength. It is only working on one incoming channel line. If I swap it over, it locks on the other channel.
So, it is either a break in a cable or a problem at the lnb?
First check the F connectors at the box end, make sure they are made off well. So, it is either a break in a cable or a problem at the lnb?
Next check the cable as far as you can, maybe it has been extended at some point and the joint is bad? Maybe it has been cut outside?
Next you need to get to the dish and check the connections on the LNB, if they look good swap them over and see if the dodgy cable works. By now you should have worked out if it is a cable or LNB problem.
Are the F connectors on the LNB sealed with amalgamating tape? If not they may have got wet or corroded.
