Ipod Touch alternatives?

My Zen Vision:M died today after 4 years service, so I'm on the lookout for a new player.

Needs to have around 30Gb storage and a proper line out so I can use it in the car (3.5mm socket).

The wifi and browser could be useful on a touch, the apps and stuff would be good to play with too.

But, ipods.. ick.. not really a huge fan, I hate iTunes.. so what other players are out there that compare ? maybe not all the apps but it seems I'd be buying yesterdays tech if it didn't have a browser..
