Thinking about upgrading

Late last year I bought myself a

- 42" Panasonic plasma
- Onkyo TX-SR607 A/V reciever
- Mourdant-Short Alumni speaker set (all 5.1 speakers).

I bought the above as a starting block and now I'm thinking of updating some of the speakers. Any ideas of what would be a sensible upgrade for around £500-750?
So far I'm tempted by either a set of Mourdant-Short Aviano or Mezzo front tower pair.

I've got a pair of the Aviano's which I use for my Sonos - excellents set of speakers for the money (around £200 I think)

I'm thinking of getting another set for my Onkyo SR605 to create 7.1 surround sound

The Aviano's you have are bookshelf sized?? judging at that price. Hopefully the floorstanding Aviano 6 and 8 are as good as the smaller Aviano 1 or 2.

Looking online im swaying between the Aviano 8 or Mezzo 6.

Yes that's right. I have floor mounted M-S as well but not sure what model they are.
