Hi everyone

I have a Panasonic 37" plasma TV which has been brilliant but has recently developed a vertical line that doesn't show the colours correctly. From what I understand and a few Google searches, this is a common indication of the panel failing and needing replacement.

Quick question though, how much and who can replace a panel out of warranty (it's just over 3 years old)? Or given the deals at the moment, is it more cost effective to just replace the TV altogether?

What does everyone think?

No warantee then bin it, a new TV would be cheaper than the cost of a new panel.

SPeak to where you bought it from, and remember the Sale of Goods Act when discussing the options.

Agreed. We've had a couple with the same fault. 37PX70 Both were repaired by Panasonic FOC inc parts and labour. PM me if you want to know of a good repairer approved by Panasonic.
