Sitting watching one at the moment. Got it last year for my folks. It works well, and looks like a Panasonic plasma. Would recommend to anyone.

The Panny 37X20 Plasma is a brilliant vfm TV - and as it's our Der's store, you're buying from a good reseller.

I've been looking at the same telly. Would like to buy from Der's store but it's £50 cheaper here and with a 5 year warranty:

Anybody else found any better deals that don't require a trip to Colne?

You'd do extremely well to beat that price.

My local dealer has the Panasonic TXP37X20 for sale at £450.

I'm looking to buy either the above (which is Plasma) or the Sony KDL37EX403U which is LCD - what would be better for watching car/bike racing? Am I right in understanding LCDs can be 'blurry' for fast moving images?

Yep - for that sort of spend, nothing touches Plasma.
It's only as you get into much more expensive LCD's do you get somewhat close to Plasma, but still not just as good.

I have recently biought this TV from Amazon - £440 with standard delivery, £9 quid to speed it up!
