I need a Myryad MC 100 CD Player!
Discussion
Hey PH audiophiles, I need some help.
I have a Myryad MI 120 amplifier, which I brought a few years ago, and stupidly never got the matching CD player as I thought my old technics sounded really good at the time.
Now I'm regretting it as I really want the MC 100 CD player, and I have scoured Ebay for ages, and haven't seen one come up, nor have I been able to find anyone for sale anywhere!
I really don't want to buy a modern model, although I'm sure it sounds better, I just want the matching look.
Any help would be very much appreciated, cheers guys.

Ah yes I did see that site, the prices are a joke! That's more than it would have cost me new at the time.
They also think my technics CD player, which is probably over 15 years old is worth nearly £400!

ETA - my technics is a model or 2 above that, so I dread to think how much they would price it at!

I have one, but sorry its not for sale , will be worth the wait !, but I guarantee it wont stop there , next you will want the pre amp and power amp then the 240's , here speaks the voice of exsperience
You git! Are you SURE you don't want to sell it to me?
I've waited ages kept an eye on ebay but just can't find one!
I had one, had it along with my MI120.
I took it back, it was even more intermittent in it's operation than the amp. Down to ejecting the drawer when the sun shone near it. Changed it for a Rotel 965BX CD player and a Cambridge DACMagic II.
My MI120 has literally blown up twice now, and has a total lobotomy if the power goes off, only fixable by leaving it disconnected from the mains for a day. Sounds brilliant when it does work, though.

I honestly don't listen to CD's very often, but now that I'm setting my house up as I'd like it, I just want the matching CD player as I love the amp and don't want to change it. I'm sure I won't have any complaints about the sound of the CD player either way...I took it back, it was even more intermittent in it's operation than the amp. Ah well the search goes on...
