Recording off the telly to a pc?

I am on TV later and want to record it to keep...is that possible somehow??? (i have sky+ but want it on my PC...how do the folk that get stuff on you tube so quick do it?)

A video capture card is what you need. I'm not sure if sky can do it, but an ordinary ariel can.
