PH collective,wavey

I'm looking for a TV for the kitched/diner and I've narrowed it down to; size = 22inch and make = Panasonic so which model would be best?

The TX-L22D28BP or the TX-L22X20B. Now the D28 looks nice (purply/grey frame) and is LED so lighter, easier to wall mount and cheaper to run. The X20 is a little more expensive however it is 1080i resolution rather than 720p, am I going to notice a big difference? Which one is worth going for? Is there any other 22inchers I should consider (fnarr)paperbag

Help appreciated!
Ta!

If your budget allows go for the 28. Available in silver or white too and also supplied with an ipod dock [you never know!] that allows video to be played from it. Great screen and with 5 years manufacturers warranty

Does the fact that the other LCD is 1080i resolution? Is this noticably better than the 720p of the 28?

I MUST upgrade my existing kitchen 21" (Tosh I think) as the sound, quality is passable but just has zero volume. Balls all us in a kitchen by the time you have an oven / extractor / dishwasher / argument going on.

So a 21" with Volume and good all round vision angle please. (I am sure 720 to be sufficient)

As above! No 21" panels manufactured. Either of the above models have reasonable speakers. Avoid Samsung in this instance

Not sure if your 21" is 4:3 or 16:9 ratio. Bea ri nmind that a 22" widescreen will still only be around the same height as a 17" 4:3 so you may want to whizz up to the heady heights of a 26" ! Again the Pana26x20 is a cracking screen although a tad lardy.
