I'm shopping for a new TV at the moment and wondered what the pick of the current deals was?

I'm looking for something of a moderate size (~32") but am not fussy, I can go bigger or smaller if there is a particular deal or reason to. I'm on a fairly tight budget (~£400), but again, this is flexible. I'm quite happy to save for a month or two and spend a bit extra if I get more bang for my buck this way.

The one thing that the TV must be is 1080p. I know that the benefits are debatable in a lot of circumstances, but this TV will be used as my primary computer screen the majority of the time so I need the extra resolution for this. It's never going to connected to an aerial/sky box or be used for viewing SD TV, everything piped in to it will be either via the PC or XBox/PS3, so SD performance/freeview/etc is not important.

So, if these were your criteria and the money was in your pocket, what would you buy?

You'll need to spend some time researching the VGA/DVI resolutions, if the TV has one, and that's what you're using.
If going down the HDMI route, then so long as the graphics chip can drive 1920x1080 resolution, you should be fine - HDMI handshaking aside.
