Hi I'm hoping someone can help, I have seen a few times people projecting onto glass and want to do that myself for advertising at our office, so passers by can see the film running. I know that a film needs to be put on the glass but I'm not sure where to get it or the cost?

After a quick google I can confirm that 3M do a film product for this application, it is called Vikuiti and is apparently expensive but I couldn't find a price.

ooh ooh ooh please phone www.windsor-displays.co.uk and ask for Italo (and tell him James Pugh recommended him)

used to work for him- and he's an extremely fiendly guy- and this is pretty much what they specialise in- there's all sorts of films for all sorts of scenarios!

Surprised if they won't- but you might have to pay for it up front via bank transfer.

Used to sell a UK manufactured product like this a few years ago. Massive downside is high ambient light that kills the image. If you're after the brightest solution, you would be better off hanging a 55" LED backlit LCD, all depending on the image size you're after.
Also easier to put USB or SD card images straight in, not to mention the longevity of the panel as opposed to 2000 hr bulb life of the average projector.

last couple of years has seen some amazing progress in light transmission- windsor displays had a product 6 months ago that you could use in direct sunlight and the backlit picture was as bright and clear as at night! seriously impressive and i have no idea how it works.
