I'm looking for a high quality bedroom set-up to replace my old Beovision Avant. Viewing is between 6 and 8 feet away, but from two different locations approximxately 90 degrees opposed. My requirements are:

32" screen - no larger due to space availability
Freeview HD tuner built-in ideally
Very high quality sound (possibly soundbar and subwoofer - only 2.1 though due to room configuration and wanting to avoid additional cables)
Control with one remote - can't be doing with surround amp, tv and sky remotes and not enthusiastic about multifunction remotes
Compact cabinet with motorised stand to allow screen to move between two positions (approx 60 degree sweep would be sufficient)
Stylish and integrated look.

The one option that does tick all the boxes for me is the Beovision 7-32, Beosound 7.1 speaker with Struer cabinet as below - this would cost about £4k (second hand - approx 4 years old), but I imagine there are strong alternatives for less - can anyone recommend a complete solution for the above criteria.

Thanks, Gary

Just to add a few points:

I appreciate that B&O aren't considered the last word in picture quality for the price, but the sound, integration and asthetics are superb and I have some Beosound 8000 speakers I could use.

Not interested in 3D, although internet capability may be worthwhile

I have a Panasonic 37" and Phillips 42" in other rooms (both plasma) and like the ambilight technology on the Phillips - more than just a gimmick IMHO.

Lounge system includes Denon 1910, Kef speakers which is excellent, but I do seem to be juggling remotes as I use the Denon amp as an HDMI switcher

We found that our avants had a better picture than our 7-40.

Sounds like you need a BeoVision 10-32

The blurb all concentrates on wall mounting, but there are motorised floor and table stands available as well.

Truly stunning bit of kit.

Just a shame the website doesn't do it more justice. I suggest a trip to your dealer, who might even buy the Avant back.

You might also look at the Loewe range - an alternative to the B&O, but as said, the integration and aesthetics of the B&O are hard to replicate and ignore in equal measure.
