I have a Samsung LE32M86BD and I want to connect my X Box 360 to it.

When I go into the television menu and select settings it will not let me highlight and select the game mode ? any ideas or is it a problem with the television.

How is the xbox connected? Can you select game mode using any other inputs?

The x box is away for repair so is not connected to the tv, would this stop me selecting game mode on the tv menu.

The x box will be connected to the tv using the three cables (RED,WHITE,YELLOW) direct to the sockets on the tv or through a scart adapter to the scart socket on the tv.

Hope that helps.

Try connecting the Xbox using either the RGB/RW (component)cable or an HDMI cable either will give you much better results than a RWY connection. I wouldnt worry too much about game mode all it is is a preset for colour, contrast and brightness it may only be accesible when something is connected to the TV.
