Help me set my home cinema up.....

Not sure how to set my home cinema up correctly for best results...

Onkyo Reciever,
Samsung TV
Xbox 360
Humax PVR
2 hdmi leads
1 scart cable
1 component thingy (you know multiple coloured leads, seperate ones for audio)

The humax box only runs of scart.

Now i'd like the option to use the cinema speakers when i want but also just use the normal TV speakers when needed.

So how best to do this?

Scart from humax into tv?
HDMI from xbox to receiver and then another hdmi from receiver to TV
Do I need the components running from tv to receiver as well?

Help?

Ah yes sorry!

The reciever is an Onkyo tx-sr506, had a couple of years, its been set up and took down, now setting back up with the new TV.
