I used to have a Harmony 1000 which started out brilliant and through software tweaks gradually became unusable. I've heard (and seen) good things about the Harmony One but as an avid Sky user I want the hardware red/green/blue/yellow buttons.

This has led me to the Harmony 900, is there anything else out there for this kind of price that would be better? Everything is being hidden away or moved upstairs so I will be using the RF connection for the most part.

I've been using the Harmony One for over a year. Took a chance buying it as I, like you, thought I'd miss the coloured buttons. Within a week of buying it, I totally forgot my worries. It works, and well. The standard setup has the coloured buttons on the screen, and they work a treat.

If you get stuck, I can highly recommend giving one a go.
