1970s retro speakers

I've inherited these speakers. My dad had them since at least the 1970s, I wondered if anyone had seen anything similar, and knew anything about them? I'll box them for now but I'm sure I'll find a use for them.





They look like those 1970s "space chairs" you occasionally see pictures of.

Dunno what they are but you can see where Anthony Gallo got his influence from!

Do they sound any good?

They haven't been connected up for donkey's years. I'm thinking of taking them to bits to see if I can glean any more info.
